PROBLEM

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Connecticut (BBBSCT) needed help leveraging paid digital advertising to increase the number of male volunteers (leads) for their Bigs community-based program. They were actively engaging their audience organically but they were not seeing a proportional increase in volunteers. While they could track the total volume of leads through their backend CRM, they did not have capabilities to properly attribute where the leads were coming from.

SOLUTION &SERVICES

Regan Communications Group was tasked to come up with a cost-effective solution to both bring new volunteers through Meta and Google advertising and configure marketing technology to properly attribute our lead generating efforts. Having worked with another Big Brothers Big Sisters chapter, we were in a unique position to consult and quickly solve the lack of visibility.

Within less than a week of creative approval, our team launched the first campaigns leveraging the learnings from our previous experience. The results started to show up almost instantaneously. Not only were they experiencing a big jump on the volunteer application volume, a significant percentage were highly qualified. In fact, after 5 short months, we had to scale down to help BBBSCT’s lead nurturing team catch up!

RESULTS

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Connecticut was able to achieve their fiscal year volunteer goals. Regan helped produce almost 500 leads on about $30,000 in ad spend within one year. The cost per lead averaged to $60 which was far below what they were expecting.  As a bonus, their social media following more than doubled and their organic reach almost tripled in the same reporting period.
