He also served as Editor\/VP News of The Westerly Sun in Westerly RI for 10 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under his leadership, The Sun twice earned Distinguished Newspaper awards from the New England Newspaper Association and a Publick (cq) Occurrences Award from the same organization for investigative reporting.
