The 9th Annual CityFeast – Dining out to Conquer Diabetes

At Regan Communications Group, we service a number of high-profile clients in the consumer, lifestyle and hospitality sectors, and this expertise sets us apart from other PR firms.  Our client list is as diverse as it is impressive and we assist them in a variety of ways.  Not only do Regan’s clients contribute to the firm’s success, but they contribute to each other’s as we tie them together where and when it is appropriate.  We build relationships with our clients where we establish a level of trust and respect.  This way, we each feel comfortable and confident referring clients and customers to each other.

We are fortunate to work with Joslin Diabetes Center and the annual CityFeast event to benefit the Center.  Traditionally, the North End had been the exclusive home of CityFeast but with Regan Communication Group’s large roster of restaurant clients and connections, it only made sense to leverage them in a way that would raise more funds and awareness for Joslin and their mission to find a cure for diabetes.  We expanded the event and got other parts of the city involved by gaining the support of our restaurant connections in the Seaport District and South End.  This past Sunday, January 26th, 2014 marked the 9th Annual CityFeast – Dining out to Conquer Diabetes event, which drew a lively crowd of diabetes supporters to ten of Boston’s most exclusive restaurants – the number of participating restaurants has doubled since the event’s expansion.  Participating restaurants included Antico Forno, Aria Trattoria, The Gallows, Lucca, Lucia, TAMO, Taranta, Temazcal, Terramia Ristorante, and Tresca.

Former  Mayor Thomas M. Menino, who was in attendance with first-lady Angela, was recognized at the event not only for his long-time commitment to supporting Joslin and CityFeast, but also for his commitimage004ment to championing city-wide health and wellness initiatives and helping to promote diabetes awareness.

CityFeast attendees enjoyed a five-course dinner with wine pairings (or tequila pairings at Temazcal) at the choice of the participating restaurant, and proceeds benefitted Joslin Diabetes Center’s High Hopes Fund, which supports the Center’s greatest needs in research, education and clinical care.
