David Traub joined Regan Communications Group as Vice President of Media following more than 25 years as Communications Director, public information officer, and legislative adjutant for two successive (Norfolk, Mass) District Attorneys. In that capacity he provided thousands of on-the-record conversations to hundreds of outlets from local blogs to the Washington Post, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox News and their local affiliates in multiple markets. He provided media training and strategy to dozens of senior executives and navigated crises including corruption scandals, industrial fatalities,  police scandals, and more than 100 fresh homicides. He was a core communications and messaging member of the campaign that won Congressman William R. Keating (D-MA9) his seat representing Cape Cod. David has been president of education and other non-profit organizations and is a member of the founding board of directors for the Holy Cross Alumni Anti-Racism Alliance. Prior to the Norfolk DA’s Office, David spent two years as Senate communications director for the Joint Committee on the Judiciary in the Massachusetts Legislature. David was a staff-writer, columnist, and photographer for a succession of Massachusetts newspapers after college, and a contributor to numerous papers including the Providence Journal-Bulletin.
