On Monday, the Regan Communications’ New York team was tasked with promoting the New York Yankees’ Opening Day at NYY Steak. An event was held at the Midtown location that included a working lunch for food and culinary bloggers along with clients such as New York Sports Club and BFX Studio.
Guests were given deals on some of NYY Steak’s most popular dishes, including the signature 27 oz. Long Bone Ribeye Steak. Other dishes included the “Deep in Left Field Popcorn” consisting of fresh popcorn, balsamic vinaigrette, shaved onions, bell peppers and Asiago and the “Knuckleball” which is a chorizo and Pepperjack cheese-stuffed ripe tomato wrapped in a wonton and deep fried served with black bean salsa and red chili sauce. Specialty drinks were also served, including the Cotton Candy Cosmo with Grey Goose Citron vodka, Cointreau, cranberry and lime juices topped with homemade cotton candy and the Shocu Slider with Japanese Shochu liquor grape and grapefruit juices and trufflehoney.
Along with sampling the delicious food and enjoying the game, guests were also able to enjoy many giveaways and complimentary bites from the kitchen and samplings from the bar. There was also the chance for guests attending after the game to show their ticket stub to receive 27% off their meal. If more than $150 was spent, guests would receive a voucher for four free tickets to a select Yankees game.
This event was not only beneficial to guests, but it was also beneficial to our clients and Regan Communications Group as a whole. It was a home-run event for cultivating relationships with media, bloggers and our clients.
