This month, 
Regan client RR Auction hosted fundraiser to raise money for the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation (ASF) and to honor the late Leon Ford, an avid collector of space and NASA memorabilia. Leon Ford’s popular collection of photographs, signatures, and items that have traveled through space were auctioned off to the highest bidder by RR Auction and all proceeds went to the ASF.
As a prelude to the auction itself, the fundraiser showcased some of these rare museum-quality pieces during the event, and auctioned off select items to raise money for the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation.
A highlight of the evening, Jeff Hoffman, a veteran of five space missions and current MIT professor of aeronautics and astronautics, addressed the crowd sharing his interstellar experiences.
The event attracted an array of attendees, from space collectors to business professionals. Davio’s offered a plentiful food and beverage spread, and the open floor plan allowed people to mingle while viewing the unique items on display, including a real training space suit.
