Davio’s does it right – while celebrating 30 years

Taste of the NFL 2015

Owner of Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse, Steve DiFillippo, is well known for and credits his success to his mantra: “Be good to people and people will be good to you,” so it’s no surprise that he is actively involved in many charitable organizations. He is carrying that attitude forward this year, more than ever, in celebration of Davio’s 30 successful years in business – all while offering an unforgettable experience to his guests!

Let’s face it – with the arrival of fall comes a plethora of fundraisers, galas and benefits, and without ongoing effort to keep them lively, they can become a bit stale.  When faced with this challenge, we suggest putting the fun back in your fundraiser – case in point – Davio’s. If you’re looking for new ideas on how to raise money for a cause, Davio’s does it by selling products and organizing fun events, and they put some serious heart behind them. Here’s a look at some of their charitable efforts this month:

Davio’s 30th Anniversary Celebration: October 21st

100% of proceeds benefitting The Greater Boston Food Bank

Steve DiFillippo is celebrating his 30 years of success, and it’s no surprise that he chose to donate 100% of the proceeds to a great, food- related cause: The Greater Boston Food Bank.  The event will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.  DiFillippo is inviting Davio’s family and friends to celebrate 30 successful years in Boston with plenty of food, drinks and dancing all while giving back! Davio’s Boston will shut its doors for one-night-only in celebration.  The evening will be an unforgettable, star-studded event with live music by French Lick with WYC Grousbeck, on the drums, the co-owner of the Boston Celtics! A cocktail for a cause: 100% of proceeds benefit Breast Care Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston

To support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Davio’s is honoring a member of its own family, Patty Labella, by creating a signature cocktail in her name and donating all proceeds to the Breast Care Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. The Patty Labella Cocktail (a beautiful concoction made with Reyka Vodka, Cointreau, cranberry juice and lime juice – $13) will be available at Davio’s Lynnfield, Foxborough and Boston locations.

“Wine-By-The-Glass” to support hunger relief: Offered throughout December 2015

Davio’s partners with Gallo Wines to benefit the Taste of the NFL

Davio’s has partnered with E&J Gallo Winery and is excited to be participating in its “Wine-By-The-Glass” program throughout December, which includes more than 15,000 restaurants nationwide that support Taste of the NFL throughout the year.  Davio’s is proud to support hunger relief and by purchasing one of the selected wines on the menu, meals will be provided to local food banks across the country by Gallo Wines (through December 2015).

The TASTE OF THE NFL is a 501c3 organization, which is hosting its 25th annual hunger relief event to take place on the eve of Super Bowl 50, in the San Francisco Bay Area – The Party with a Purpose® fundraising event. This year’s star-studded event brings together exceptional cuisine and prominent chefs from around the country, once again including long-time supporter & Davio’s owner, Steve DiFillippo, as well as Davio’s Culinary Director Rodney Murillo, who will be the chefs for the New England Patriots.
