From Maine to Connecticut and all points New England in between, fans of all ages are eagerly awaiting Sunday’s Super Bowl. But for one group of students, members of a sports management course at Nichols College in Dudley, Mass., the Super Bowl is a “once-in-a-lifetime” lived experience. The 17 students are working with the NFL’s host committee assisting with fan events, stadium operations, and game-day logistics while earning course credits. We were thrilled to facilitate this Boston Globe story about this very special opportunity. As one of the students, Xander Polofsky, noted: “It’s a once-in-a lifetime opportunity. I’m just excited to learn the game operations, just to see the atmosphere of the Super Bowl and just see a high-level event like it is.” Check out the story for more details!
