One of the most rewarding aspects of our work is helping organizations whose mission is to help others. Our friends at the National Police Athletic/Activities League are doing great things across the country through programming that lets law enforcement officers mentor kids through sports, STEM learning, and other community-building activities. National PAL oversees approximately 300 local PAL chapters throughout the US, reaching about two million youth. The organization recently named Dr. Stephen Coan, a highly experienced non-profit and educational leader, as its president and CEO, and elected several new board members, including former Boston Police Commissioner William Gross. The Boston Herald recently published a great piece about PAL’s mission. Check it out here.
