With Veterans Day this Friday, Team Stacy is honored to work side by side with Massachusetts Fallen Heroes, an organization dedicated to honoring the Fallen, assisting families of the Fallen and empowering Veterans, in a series of events geared toward the special national holiday.

On Thursday, Westwood Progressive Service Center, in conjunction with Massachusetts Fallen Heroes, will donate a newly-refurbished vehicle to a deserving Veteran. US Marine Veteran and Salem, MA resident Kevin Welch will receive the keys to a newly-refurbished car through Progressive Auto Insurance ® Keys to Progress initiative. Kevin was selected by Massachusetts Fallen Heroes and Progressive Auto Insurance together solely based off of need.
On Friday, Massachusetts Fallen Heroes will host its Veterans Day ceremony at the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes memorial, located in Boston’s Seaport District. Massachusetts Fallen Heroes board and staff members, Gold Star Families, as well as patriotic supporters of the United States’ servicemen and women will gather at the memorial to honor those who have served our country, those who are currently serving and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice fighting in the Global War on Terrorism. At the ceremony will be the laying of six wreaths, each representing their respective branch of the military, with one representing Massachusetts’ fallen heroes.

Massachusetts Fallen Heroes is honored to have NFL and Combat Veteran, Nate Boyer, Major General Gary W. Keefe, Massachusetts National Guard, Colonel Michael V. Samarov, Commanding Officer of the 25th Marine Regiment, and Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker, as the ceremony’s keynote speakers.

On Saturday, Massachusetts Fallen Heroes will join the 25th Marine Regiment to celebrate the 241st birthday of the Marine Corp at the 25th Marine Regiment Marine Corps Ball. Guests will get dressed to the nines to enjoy an evening of celebration including a cocktail reception, dinner and dancing. The evening will also celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the founding of the Marine Corps Reserves. Massachusetts Fallen Heroes is delighted to honor Colonel Todd S. Degrosseilliers, USMC, the evening’s guest of honor.
