Regan Communications Group is accepting applications for fall internship positions. All internships are unpaid but offer college credit (although not required). Interest should be directed to internship@regancomm.com.

Public Relations Internship

Regan Communications is looking for students to fill our part or full-time positions.  This internship is an unpaid opportunity, available for course credit or as independent work without receiving credit. A valid driver’s license is also required.

Responsibilities Include:  The intern’s responsibilities may include: providing public relations support, drafting news releases, creating media clips, interacting with local and national media, compiling media lists, running errands, coordinating special events, and general office work such as phoning, faxing, and filing.

Requires Skills: Candidates should be self-starters who show initiative and creativity. You must also be a polished professional with excellent oral and written skills. We prefer juniors and seniors, but may make exceptions for qualified sophomores.

Administrative Internship

Regan Communications Group is currently hiring Administrative Interns to work in our Boston Office. The internships are part-time unpaid opportunities for currently enrolled college students. This internship is available for course credit or as independent work without receiving credit. A valid driver’s license is also required.

Under the supervision of Executive assistants and Managers, internship participants will gain experiential knowledge of operating a business.

Responsibilities Include: Daily internship responsibilities include but are not limited to: running errands for executive assistants and managers; coordinating between departments in resolving day-to-day operational problems; organizing general office work (phoning, faxing, and filing); and supporting Event Teams in the office and onsite at events.

Required Skills: Candidates should be self-starters who show initiative and organization. You must also be a polished professional with excellent oral and written skills. We prefer sophomores, juniors, and seniors, but may make exceptions for qualified freshmen.

Video Production Internship

Regan Communications is looking for skilled students in video/media production to assist the Creative Team. Regan Communications shoots and edits several high-end videos a week for a wide variety of clients. This internship is an unpaid opportunity, available for course credit or as independent work without receiving credit. A valid driver’s license is also required.

Responsibilities Include: The intern will assist the Creative Team in the office as well as on video shoots. Other responsibilities may include: importing and editing footage, monitoring for any viral/trending videos online, conceptualizing, filming and editing videos for Regan’s social media and running errands.

Required Skills: Candidates should have working knowledge of Final Cut Pro, video cameras, boom pole, and lighting kit. Experience in Sound Track Pro, Adobe After Effects and sound/audio set-up is preferred but not required.

Social Media Internship

Regan Communications is looking for students to assist the Social Media team. Regan Communications provides social media strategy and implementation both internally and for our clients. This internship is an unpaid opportunity, available for course credit or as independent work without receiving credit. A valid driver’s license is also required.

Responsibilities Include: The intern will assist the Social Media team in the social media strategy and implementation for both Regan Communications and our clients. Other responsibilities may include: monitoring for any viral/trending topics, drafting posts for Facebook, Twitter and Google+, attending our social media meetings, running errands, and assisting in public relations efforts.

Required Skills: Candidates should have expertise using all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Google+, as well as knowledge in Photoshop. He/she should have a creative mind to conceptualize and assist in executing social media campaigns. Experience in Illustrator and InDesign is a plus, but not required.

Graphic Design Internship

Regan Communications is looking for skilled students in graphic design to assist the Creative Team.  Regan Communications designs a variety of collateral for our clients including billboards, print and online advertisements, evites, event posters, websites and social media pages.  The internship is an unpaid opportunity, available for course credit or as independent work without receiving credit. A valid driver’s license is also required.

Responsibilities Include: The intern will assist the Creative Team in the office with creative concepts as well as design deliverables. Other responsibilities may include working with our social media team to create graphic to accompany posts, as well as cover image and profile pictures for social media use.

Required Skills: Candidates should have working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite specifically Photoshop and InDesign. Experience in Illustrator is preferred but not required.
