Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation and Harbinger Development broke ground on the new Hampton Inn by Hilton and Homewood Suites by Hilton Boston Seaport. The $176-million hotel built by Suffolk Construction will be located in Boston’s Seaport district.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by many local dignitaries, including Boston Mayor Marty Walsh and Boston City Councilor At-Large Michael Flaherty.
The 14-story tower hotel is scheduled to open in mid-2020.
