RCG Providence client and Rhode Island landmark, Gregg’s Restaurants and Taverns, was honored with the prestigious National Restaurant Association Restaurant Neighbor Award in Washington, D.C. last week.
The award recognized Gregg’s for all of their outstanding charitable work in the community for the past 20 years.
Gregg’s Restaurants is not only a place where you can find the most delicious cakes in the state of Rhode Island, or order a home cooked meal, but a restaurant where people can dine and make a difference. Just some of their charitable initiatives include Gregg’s Giving Cake, which donates a portion of cake proceeds to Hasbro Children’s Hospital; Cake for the Cure, which supports the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation; and the Rhode Island Community Food Bank which Gregg’s has supported through monetary donations for the past seven years.
