The Franciscan Friars of Holy Name Province (HNP), an RCG-NYC client, recently launched “Gather 4 Good, Give 5 for Food” (#Give5forfood), a social media campaign to raise money for the hungry & homeless. The #Give5ForFood campaign encourages groups, families, friends, communities, and organizations to take a photo of themselves holding up a $5 bill, which is to be contributed to the campaign from each person in the photo. 
The photo can be shared on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram using the hashtag #Give5forfood. Participants can then make a donation by visiting thefranciscans.org/5ff. Through the use of social media, all money raised will benefit food service programs like soup kitchens, breadlines, and food pantries throughout the country.
HNP is one of the largest provinces of the world-wide Order of Friars Minor (O.F.M.) with their headquarters in NYC. Each year, the Franciscan Friars serve over 2 million people by providing food, shelter, and medical assistance to those in need.
