You wouldn’t think it, but Bostonians do love their country music – now, they have a go-to bar to get their fix. While the Cask ‘n Flagon by Fenway has always been a great sports bar to grab some beers and catch a Red Sox game, it is now giving patrons another reason to stop by: Country Night! Every Sunday night at 8, #CaskGoesCountry and features local country acts. This “country transformation” kicked off when The Cask hosted 102.5’s VIP pre-party for Jason Aldean’s Fenway Park concert in July, where Dalton and the Sheriffs played for a packed house (photo below).
From a public relations and marketing perspective, our team came up with some pretty amazing cocktail names to go with the country theme. Clearly, they all originated from Southern words, but as marketers, we transformed them into Boston Southern po’dunk good times! Some names include the “Wicked Strong,” “Hillbilly Monsta,” “Cowgirl Flask” and “Beantown Hoedown” among others. We figured this is a great opportunity to leverage our current relationship with value adds such as these cocktails. Our next step…to sample the new drinks!
