Regan Communications has been choreographing and staging major events at the highest levels for a quarter-century. Our event clients and projects include the Boston Wine Expo, the New York Auto Show, Mix 98’5’s “Mixfest” concert, the Cape Cod Life Food & Wine Expo, the Cape Cod Life Home & Garden Expo, Dish Du Jour Magazine’s Taste of Queens and Beyond Food & Wine Gala, and the Taste of Park Plaza.

 

Generating awareness of special events is one of Regan’s core competencies. As the agency-of-record for the nation’s largest consumer wine event, The Boston Wine Expo, we annually generate extensive national and regional coverage. For the 2009 Boston Wine Expo, we introduced a wildly successful social media component, establishing Facebook and Twitter accounts that helped push attendance well beyond the previous year. In working with the New York Auto Show, we represented EV Innovations electric powered vehicles, coordinated preview interviews, established and maintained a Twitter account, and handled an unveiling media event for their new electric sports car.

 

Since the primary objective for these events is, simply put, attendance, Regan exhausts every traditional and new media opportunity there is to get people in the door. We generate TV and radio interviews, “buzz” items, photo ops, web and calendar listings, as well as develop and execute social media campaigns weeks before the event. We also work to ensure maximum on-site media coverage on the date of the event, and then place post-event items and photos in the media over the following days.

 

Regan coordinates virtually every operational aspect of special events, including venue and entertainment booking, compiling invitation lists, creating and distributing invitations, equipment rental, lighting and video.
