George K Regan

George K. Regan Jr., Chairman
 

George founded Regan Communications Group in 1984 after spending eleven years in the Office of Mayor Kevin H. White; the last ten as White's press secretary. He previously worked as a reporter for the Boston Globe.

During his career at City Hall, he specialized in crisis communications and media strategy. He served as a media consultant to President Carter, Senator Maurice Udall, and Senator Henry Jackson. George received a Bachelor of Science in journalism from Suffolk University and a Master of Science in public relations from Boston University.

George has built the firm into New England's largest privately held public relations company. He is actively involved in Boston community events and charitable organizations. In 1998, George was one of the four extraordinary individuals who received the Community Leadership Award from Franciscan's Children's Hospital & Rehabilitation Center.

In October of 2002, George, along with Red Sox legend Dwight Evans, was honored as Man of the Year by the American Liver Foundation in an All-Star Tribute held at Fenway Park. This tribute is a celebration of individuals who demonstrate an outstanding show of concern and compassion for others.

 
 
 
 
Alan Eisner

Alan Eisner, President
 

Alan is the former Editor-in-Chief of the Boston Herald. During his more than 20 years at the Herald, he also held the positions of Managing Editor, Education Editor, political reporter and commentator.

As a top Boston newsman, Alan brings a wealth of talent and experience in serving national and local clientele. He is also in charge of new business development.

Alan is responsible for providing strategic consulting on all major accounts as well as coordinating the firm's major accounts.

 
 
 
 
Jack Fitzgerald

Jack Fitzgerald, Deputy General Manager
 

As Deputy General Manager, Jack supervises the Regan account teams and works closely with team leaders and management on client strategies and services.

 

Jack has extensive experience in the Boston market in both broadcast journalism and public relations.

 

Before joining Regan in 1990, Jack was News Director at WLVI-TV, where he supervised the growth and development of "The News At Ten," which debuted in 1984 as the city's first 10:00pm newscast. Previously, he was News Director at WNAC-TV Ch. 7, Boston's CBS affiliate, where he spent a decade in various management roles. He also served as talent coordinator at Woolf Associates in Boston, which represented high-profile celebrities and pro athletes including Larry King, Larry Bird and Carl Yastrzemski.

 

Jack is a graduate of Northeastern University.

 
 
 
 
Chrisitian Megliola

Christian Megliola, Chief Strategy Officer
 

A three-time award-winning television producer, Christian brings a wealth of strategic communications and unique content generation experience to his role as Chief Strategy Officer for Sports, Consumer and New Media at Regan Communications. His primary role is to work with clients to develop integrated communications strategies that align traditional and new media.

Christian has been with Regan Communications since 2000. Prior to taking on his role as CSO, Christian ran a wide variety of high-profile accounts, including the Boston Celtics, Dunkin' Donuts, New Balance, Mohegan Sun, RE/MAX of New England, Boston magazine, The Boston Park Plaza Hotel, Todd English and the Olive Group, and Legal Sea Foods among several others.

Before coming to Regan, Christian spent several years in the Boston media. He began his career as a sports producer at Channel 4 in Boston. In 1996, Christian took the helm of the FOX 25 sports department for that station’s news launch. The department won a 1998 Associated Press award for “Best Sportscast.” Christian left FOX 25 in 1999 to serve for a year as the editor-in-chief for AthleteNow.com, where he was in charge of developing content for the personal web sites of dozens of athletes including Ray Bourque, Charles Barkley, and Allan Houston.

Christian also played a prominent role in the production of two top-selling videos chronicling the history of Boston sports, co-writing "Boston Red Sox: 100 Years in Baseball History," and serving as a producer for the "Banner Years: A Boston Garden Retrospective." Both videos won New England Emmy Awards. He also worked as a writer and producer for Channel 7 news and has been a contributing writer to Boston Baseball magazine.

A Boston College graduate, Christian currently serves on the boards of The Sports Museum and the Boston chapter of the National Sports Marketing Network. He is also assisting Lasell College with developing their sports management curriculum.

 
 
 
 
Mariellen Burns

Mariellen Burns, Chief Strategy Officer
 

Mariellen has 20 years of experience in media and public relations. As Regan Communication Group’s Director of Crisis Communications, she assists all teams in dealing with any crisis, or potential crisis situations in a strategic manner. She also oversees some of Regan’s most seasoned news and public relations veterans, managing special projects and accounts.

Mariellen is a 13-year veteran Boston television news reporter; she works as a radio talk show host, and has several years experience in high volume media/communications director posts for the Boston Police Department, and the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority/Central Artery Tunnel Project. Mariellen co-chaired the public affairs sub-committee with her counterpart at the United States Secret Service for the 2004 DNC, the first National Convention to be held since 9/11, and established the (JIC) joint information center for the event. In addition she acted as spokesperson for the joint planning committee of the federal, state and city security and transportation agencies involved planning and executing the event, which has become a blue-print for future conventions. Burns has a close working relationship with electronic and print media in Boston and across the nation. For over fifteen years she has done extensive media training for various constituencies.

 
 
 
 
Nicole Kieser

Nicole Kieser, Vice President of News Operations
 

Nicole Kieser oversees all of Regan's client services. She came to Regan Communications in 2007 as Director of Television Relations and was promoted to Vice President of News Operations in 2009.

 

Previously, Nicole served as the Press Secretary for the 2006 Mihos for Governor Campaign. Nicole has extensive experience in Boston's television news market. She began her career as an assignment editor for WHDH, 7News, and later held the position at Fox 25 News. In 2000, she returned to WHDH as a News Planning and Research Editor. She has also freelanced for New England Cable News and as a voice over artist.

 

She was on air talent for WESX 1230-AM in Salem, until the station was sold in 2006; and has taught classes in Broadcast News at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting.

 

Nicole is a life long resident of Massachusetts. She graduated with honors from Emerson College in 1997 with a Mass Communications degree in Television News Production.

Nicole Glor, Senior Vice President, Director of National Media Relations
 

As national media relations director, Nicole oversees national publicity for clients in every office including Boston, Cape Cod, Hartford, West Palm, Providence, and New York City, where she is based.

Nicole has 10 years of television, writing and public relations experience, including at Eric Mower and Associates in Syracuse, NY where one of her public relations campaigns won a national award for "Best Publicity Campaign of 2002," handed out by the League of American Communications Professionals. Nicole served as a news assignment editor and news producer at the NBC and FOX TV affiliates in Syracuse. She has also been a contributing writer for several business, news, fitness and travel publications. Nicole earned a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.

She has worked at Regan Communications since 2003, starting as director of television relations in the Boston office, before launching the Regan NYC branch. She has garnered publicity in many national outlets, including The New York Times, Rachael Ray, Today, Good Morning America, The Early Show, CNN, Fox News Channel, MSNBC, CNBC, Fox Business Network, Women’s Health Magazine, Modern Bride, Shape Magazine, Women’s Day, Entrepreneur Magazine and USA Today.
