The Videographer/Editor is responsible for all aspects of video projects. S/he is responsible, for conceptualizing, planning, shooting and editing client videos delivered at the highest quality. The candidate will also assist with managing the production facility. The candidate will be creative, detail-oriented and extremely organized. A self-starter and a team player. Some travel may be required. The position reports to the General Manager of Client Services.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Strong project management, client service, team building and interpersonal communication skills.
- Expert proficiency in shooting with a variety of video cameras, basic and advanced lighting packages, and editing with Final Cut Pro 7 & 10.
- Proficiency in After Effects, DVD Studio Pro, Motion, Soundtrack Pro, AVID, Adobe Media Encoder, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Pro Tools/SoundForge or equivalent, Filemaker Pro, Excel, Word
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
