Rebecca is President and Creative Director of Pierce-Coté Advertising, a company she founded in 1988. As key strategist and conceptualist for the agency’s clients, Pierce-Merrick is responsible for many enduring creative and branding strategies, including the award winning “A Short Trip to Far Away” for the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce. Now with the merger of Regan Communications and Pierce-Coté, she also works with the Regan team bringing her marketing expertise to
their clients.
Over the years, Pierce-Merrick has demonstrated her commitment to the community in a variety of ways including serving as President of the Hyannis Area Chamber of Commerce. She was also Vice-President of the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce and served on their board for several years.
Rebecca Pierce-Merrick is founder and curator of the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum. She served as its Chair for many years and continues to be its spokesperson. Rebecca was a guest on Dateline NBC, CBS Evening News, The Today Show, Entertainment Tonight, CNN, MSNBC, the BBC, and dozens of other national and international news outlets.
Pierce-Merrick is a board member of the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum Foundation. She has also been a guest lecturer on marketing at Boston University’s School of Hospitality Administration and Cape Cod Community College.
