On Thursday, Westwood Progressive Service Center, in conjunction with Massachusetts Fallen Heroes, will donate a newly-refurbished vehicle to a deserving Veteran. US Marine Veteran and Salem, MA resident Kevin Welch will receive the keys to a newly-refurbished car through Progressive Auto Insurance ® Keys to Progress initiative. Kevin was selected by Massachusetts Fallen Heroes and Progressive Auto Insurance together solely based off of need.

On Friday, Massachusetts Fallen Heroes will host its Veterans Day ceremony at the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes memorial, located in Boston’s Seaport District. Massachusetts Fallen Heroes board and staff members, Gold Star Families, as well as patriotic supporters of the United States’ servicemen and women will gather at the memorial to honor those who have served our country, those who are currently serving and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice fighting in the Global War on Terrorism. At the ceremony will be the laying of six wreaths, each representing their respective branch of the military, with one representing Massachusetts’ fallen heroes.
