This is the time of year we start cranking up our efforts on two of our long-term clients: The Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce and The Steamship Authority.
As we get ready for another summer working with the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce, we will create a full-on media blitz, from Maine to New Jersey, selling the
wonderful experience of a getaway to the beauty and tranquility that is a Cape and Islands vacation. Most of our messaging is aimed at families that would be able to make the trip by car.
Our brand is supported by images and copy that reflect the beaches, the arts and the unique activities the Cape and Islands have to offer. The concept of our brand is best summed up in our long-running tagline: “A short trip to far away”.
Once we have you here, why not take a trip to Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket? We’ve been encouraging visitors to do just that, through The Steamship Authority. They’re always the leader in trips to the islands.
We’ve had a huge success promoting the Steamship’s “High-Speed Ferry” service to Nantucket. By cutting the travel time from 3 hours to 1 hour, the idea of a day trip is much more feasible for the average family. We’ve also had a great deal of success with a $50 round-trip promotion on trips taken Monday through Thursday, typically their slower days.
Each of the islands has its own personality and we are sure to promote each on its unique attributes. But whichever island appeals to you, The Steamship Authority is, to quote another classic tagline, “The way to go!”.
With both of these long-term clients we are involved with every aspect of their communications package. In addition to the full breadth of their advertising, we design brochures and signage. For the Steamship Authority we even revise schedules and create their annual report.
