The mayor was very open and answered each question respectfully and honestly.  Despite his absence due to a meeting, his staff took over and kept the conversations going, making sure each concerned individual was answered and satisfied.

The mayor also has starred in numerous Vine videos often times directed by his Chief of Staff Daniel Koh. On Jan. 23, he uploaded a Vine of himself about to start his Twitter Q&A with the people of Boston. On Feb. 5, the day of a heavy snowstorm, Walsh uploaded a Vine of himself getting ready to announce snow updates.

Social media is a necessary tool in our modern world and the new administration for the city of Boston seems to be allocating many of the outlets we rely on everyday to relay our messages. The tools for communication are ever changing, and it is great to see the mayor’s office use outlets that PR pros rely on almost daily to relay our messages.
